Welcome to the new website of St. John's Center United Church of Christ, a Faithful and Welcoming Church.  Our prayer is that you find our website both inviting and informative.

We at St. John's Center U.C.C. believe that God calls each of us to be witnesses to the good news of the grace of Jesus Christ.  The kind of witnesses we're striving to be are ones experiencing and demonstrating the abundantly growing faith and increasing love of everyone that is described in the words above from II Thessalonians.

We think a website is one way to share with others what kind of witness God is having us be.  We are not anywhere near perfect and consistent in this witness , nor do we profess to have all the answers.  However, we are most willing to explore the questions and search for the answers through the Word of God, prayer, and intentional relationship building with God and others.

Whether you are someone just passing through our area and looking for a church to attend, or someone looking for a church to call home - a church that is trying to provide an environment whereby one can strengthen and fulfill his/her commitment to a loving relationship with God and others through the elements of the Word of God, friendliness, invitation, fellowship, outreach and mission work, prayer and worship - we would invite and welcome you to come and spend a Sunday morning with us.
