Ken grew up in Massachusetts, and has been an active participant in the UCC all his life. He is a graduate of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in MA and has served three (including St. John’s Center) churches in his thirty-five years of ordained ministry. He has served in a variety of leadership roles in UCC Associations and Conferences. Ken is trained as an Executive Christian Coach with Coach Approach Ministries and works with the Church Futures Commission in Penn Central Conference UCC.
Most important, Ken is married to his wife, Theri, of forty-six years and has three sons and daughters-in-law, and seven wonderful grandchildren. Ken enjoys music, reading, and sports (especially golf).
Pastor Ken is passionate about his faith. His desire is to empower others to discover God’s design for their lives, develop their gifts for ministry, and deploy these gifts to the glory of God and the benefit of all. Ephesians 2:10 is his life passage: “You are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus, to do good works which God prepared in advance for you to do.”
We believe that God is leading St. John’s Center in this exciting moment in our ministry. We look forward to growing together as a faith community, serving others, and proclaiming the Good News of God’s love.
